One of these days, when I get the okay (and the funds!) to go back to Europe, I'll go armed with concert locations/dates and go see them with my British friend. It's gonna be awesomeawesomeAWESOME.

I'm a huge Peeps! fan, and I'm no angel or anything, but I would like to point out they are a CHRISTIAN. There just seems to be alot of OMG's and such floating around. I'm SOOOOO excited to here them in the US though.

i had to bitch at him for an hour, but the dick behind the media counter at meijer finally cracked open the shipment and there's a fresh copy of wewinatlife in my hot little hands.

i'm pretty damn pleased with myself. so far, so good. the US-exclusive tracks are pretty solid, especially the GNR cover (i wasn't expecting much of this one, but damn, dude, they pulled it off,) and the classic stuff is perfect quality.

noted so far;
-- 'labor day' is track 15, apparently an unlisted bonus
-- the english version of 'matador suite' holds up surprisingly well despite the transition
-- tracks 2 and 7, 'hamilton steve' and 'the night's dark night' respectively, are NOT the original recordings. nothing in the composition or performance has changed, but you can tell by the sound and inflictions that its a separate performance from the original import album. does anyone know why this is? i'm assuming quality reasons...
-- for any Goatkill fans, listen closely to 'and the moonhouse' carefully between 1m21s and 1m35s for a keen surprise

that's all i've noticed for now. i'm pretty happy with how its turned out. here's hoping the sales pull through.

anybody else snagged a copy?

anyone know what kind of synth(s) PEEPS! uses?

i heard the entire cd was done in the living room of one of the guys.
could just be hearsay.
who knows.

it's amazing.

i feel bad for the kids who:
a. haven't been exposed to PEEPS! yet, or
b. just don't get it.

it's about TIME someone made a community for Peeps!

I'd have done, but I just don't have the time to manage one.

We'll show those French bastards in Daft Punk, I tell you what.
